This is not going to be Easy!

Once you've realised that things are heading towards a "Neighbours from Hell!" Scenario, then you've got to start thinking about how this is going to affect you, your spouse and your family if they are still living with you at home.

Even with all the help you can now get from the various local authority departments, the Police, Social Workers and the likes, things WILL move very slowly when you are being harassed, spat at, sworn at, assaulted and generally victimised, and then you find out that you are possibly surrounded by "jobsworths" who will give you frustration, grief and the runaround because "they" don't want to get involved and have the hassle.

You need to find out as much as you can about what is actually happening, and what can happen, and what you can insist upon happening so that you have the ammunition to fight these "jobsworths" ( and possibly their supervisors) with logic and facts. See the Must Do! page for information updated as it becomes available, plus details on what you can do yourself.

Make time for your family Try to make some extra quality time for your family and give and get some support for and from them. If you are the breadwinner, remember some of your family will be at home all day with the "NFH" problem immediately on hand. Ask your employer for help, your Church or any other responsible organisation you belong to. Let them know what you are going through in GRAPHIC DETAIL. Leave nothing out, you'll be amazed how people will rally round with, at the very least, moral support. Some may have first hand experience and will gladly offer advice that helped them, or they may know a source of information you don't yet have.

Post your problem or experiences on Your Stories, you'll feel better that someone else is sharing it with you, and who knows they may be able to help. Have a read at Must Do! and get started with a Diary and write some letters. You will feel better for doing so, and the information will help in your case against the NFH.

If you have the expertise, why not put your own NFH page on the net, and link back to this one. Drop me an e-mail and we'll gladly link to your site to help others cope.
